Making Acquaintances
The First Pass is a gentle, private introduction to myself, car and translations. It’s where we begin by observing, listening, and noting your dog’s comfort level: before we offer anything back. This isn’t a trial or assessment; it’s a chance to meet your dog on their terms, introduce myself calmly, and highlight any emotional, environmental, or behavioral insights that will shape their care.
We’ll take time to review key observations, identify any points of interest or needs beyond the walk itself (like safety tools, decompression cues, or future badges), and ensure the next step is grounded in understanding: not assumption.
Behaviour Breakdown
The Third Pass is a full behavior breakdown based on what your dog has shown us so far. This is where we step back, observe closely, and translate your dog’s body language, signals, and stress patterns into an easy-to-understand emotional report.
We’ll share what your dog is telling us: where they feel confident, where they’re asking for space, and what helps them regulate. It’s not about labels or diagnoses; it’s about understanding your dog’s communication style so we can co-create a plan that meets them where they are, not where we expect them to be.
Environmental Insight or Demo Dog Intro
The Second Pass is a tailored follow-up based on how your dog responded during our first outing. For dogs who were sensitive, unsure, or overly excited, this pass offers a slower re-introduction: often in a calmer or more neutral fashion. Focusing on environmental awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence-building. It allows us to move at your dog’s pace while gently expanding their comfort zone and resilience.
For dogs who showed readiness and interest in social exploration, the Second Pass may include a carefully selected demo dog or a visit to a future Club space. Here, we assess prosocial behaviors, play styles, and group potential with support and structure. Whether your dog needs reassurance or is ready for connection, the Second Pass helps us shape their next steps with clarity and care.
Sensory Profile
The Fourth Pass is a personalized Sensory Portfolio: a deeper look at which sights, sounds, smells, textures, or movements trigger your dog, and where their sensory sensitivities lie. We track these responses to understand how daily experiences stack up emotionally (known as trigger stacking), and how we can adjust pace, routines, and exposures to support their regulation- this is group placement and Focus Fees.
By slowing down the environment, spacing out stimuli, and creating safe opportunities for recovery, we help your dog build resilience without overwhelm. This insight lays the groundwork for dogs working toward group readiness and emotional steadiness: especially those on the path to joining our Leashly Lion Pack for self-regulating dogs.

Pass vs Rigid Times
At Leashly, I don’t charge by the minute- I charge by the moment. Dogs don’t operate on a stopwatch, and neither should their care. That’s why I use a Leashly Pass system, which allows for flexibility based on your dog’s needs that day. Rather than locking into rigid 30- or 60-minute slots, we focus on emotional pacing, environmental readiness, and meaningful engagement. From there, focus fees (for extra support like reactivity or decompression walks) and duration fees (for extended regulation or travel needs) are added only when necessary: so you’re always paying for what matters most: the quality of presence, not just the quantity of time.

Monthly Plans & Discounts
At Leashly, consistency is key to regulation, trust, and real progress. That’s why we offer monthly discounts to reward families who commit to regular care. You’ll receive 5% off when you book monthly services in advance, and an additional 5% off when you opt into auto-charge. Once your dog is placed in a Leashly Lion Pack, you’ll unlock access to our deeply discounted package rates: designed to support trusted walkers in providing flexible, high-quality care. Lion Pack passes are offered in bundles of 10 passes at $35 each or 20 passes at $33 each, with no focus fees, no expiry, and walker discretion on duration and location to best support your dog’s evolving needs.
Group Focus Fees
At Leashly, dogs are placed within thoughtfully designed groups that reflect their emotional needs, not just their energy level. Just like we wouldn’t expect a Sloth to thrive in an Elephant’s schedule, each group, whether it’s Playful Pandas, Sensitive Salamanders, or Energetic Elephants, is created to honour where the dog is right now. As dogs build trust, engage with their handlers, and progress through their milestone badges, they earn opportunities to expand into broader environments. Once a dog is thriving with Leashly’s handling and engagement style, they may be placed with a Lion Pack Walker: a trusted professional walker offering a specialized niche that fits you and your dog. This gradual, intentional progression fosters resilience, supports regulation, and helps dogs meet novelty with confidence rather than fear or uncertainty.
Focus Fee - $7.50 added onto Express Pass and Leashly Pass.
Complex dogs may be placed into more than one.
Service Fees
At Leashly, we work hard to keep our pricing as low and accessible as possible. To do this, we use a self-serve app for booking and invoicing, ensuring your service fees go directly toward the walk itself: not administration. To help keep operations smooth, all bookings must be made through the app. Texting your walker to book directly may result in a booking fee, so we kindly ask that all scheduling be done through the self-serve system. We do not charge cancellation fees, and in return, we ask for the same understanding when a walker occasionally needs to cancel or reschedule. If consistency or fit becomes a challenge, we’re happy to help with a customized walker placement: ensuring both you and your dog are matched with the care you need at a fair, transparent rate.
“At Leashly, we build relationships before we build a service schedule because real progress only happens when dogs feel safe, seen, and supported first.”
