Milestone Badges
We believe that every relationship begins with listening: then map our paths forward. Our milestone badges are a behavior-based breakdown of the emotional growth we observe in dogs over time. Each badge highlights a key area like confidence, consent, engagement, or recovery, helping you notice the small but significant shifts in your dog’s journey. With three color-coded levels: green, yellow, and red. you’ll gain insight into where your dog feels secure and where they may still need gentle support.
The Milestone Map paves the way for a better world, by dogs and their guardians. There’s so much variety in our Club that there's always something for every dog.
The structure of our program was designed to allow dogs to grow along with it, from Salamander Brave Sniffer all the way to Elephant Recall Rangers, building on their skills as they go and learning more as they progress, no matter when they start in mapping.

Brave Sniffer
Decompression & Regulation
This badge honours dogs who are learning to explore the world through scent, even when it feels new or overwhelming. It’s a reminder to slow down and let curiosity lead the way.
Engagement Explorer
Healthy Choice
This badge celebrates dogs who check in, offer eye contact, or respond to gentle cues in their own time. It reflects mutual interest and trust beginning to grow.

Gentle Greeter
Neutral & Social
This badge marks progress in social approaches whether that means soft eyes from afar or a calm hello up close. It encourages consent and confidence in connection.
Confident Communicator
Prosocial Play
This badge supports dogs using clear signals to express needs, boundaries, or excitement. We listen first, then shape a supportive response.

Joyful Joiner
Self Regulated
This badge celebrates dogs who begin to self-regulate during transitions: whether it’s getting ready for a walk, moving between environments, or shifting into rest. We honour the moment they choose to participate with presence.
Courageous Climber
Confidence & Connection
Trying something new: like a scary sound, texture, or route takes real courage. Using the world around you to discover and conquer together. This badge is for the dogs who brave the hard stuff and bounce back, even if slowly.

Recall Ranger
Free with Recall
This badge recognizes dogs who choose to return, reconnect, or follow: without force or fear. Through distance, distraction and duration with reliable accuracy. It reflects a bond built on trust, not just training.
Bold Boundary Setter
Self Advocacy
This badge celebrates a dog’s “no.” Verbal or healthy corrections are wncouraged. Setting boundaries is a sign of self-advocacy, and we see those moments as a vital part of relationship-building.

Safe Space Scout
Neutral & Social
Every dog deserves to feel safe, and this badge honours the process of discovering where that safety lives. Listening and advocating for rest is so important, even on the go. Whether it’s a park bench, a quiet trail, or your side: they get to choose.
How do we Map our Pets?
As a Club Member, dogs of the similar behaviour profile get together regularly throughout the year as part of a club called a Group. In everything you do, you’ll have support from inspirational guardians to Ambassadors your Navigators.
Every Group creates its own unique experience by picking activities from the badges that meet its members’ interests to build their talents and skills. There are plenty of ideas to choose from but we encourage you to bring your own twist: active games, at home challenges, outdoor adventures, in person walks, playgroups and more!
Each Group can pursue Milestone Badges. Lion Pack, Energetic Elephants and other Club members with 1 Badge from each Zone can earn a variety of awards through a combination of program activities, Ambassador Programs, leadership opportunities, and community service.
