What to Expect

Check in with Group Leader or Lion Leader. Each event has a welcome station with treats, bags and water. We will provide the task, game or challenge that walk has to offer. 

2-5 mins

When you and your dog are ready make your way to the Task board to work on Badge Building, Daily Game or a Mini Circuit. 

15-20 mins

We host different walking styles to accomodate all dogs on their journeys. If at any time your dog needs to step back, modify or retreat and regulate please do. The goal is not completing the walk and every task it is to build a strong foundation. We have time.

Our goal is to be in a place of working WITH our dogs. We want to learn and practice what regulates them right at the start. This could be play or a sniff stroll.

5+ mins

Now that everyone is ready and regulated we head into the trail or path. Be sure to follow distance rules and advocate for your dogs needs.

30- 45 mins

Document your progress as your dog practices the skill of settling. Place them on a cot or blanket, sit with them and with in your belonging book. Get your Badge Building Course signed by Lindsay.
