Frequently Asked

For Services

All service providers are bonded and insured with relevant licensing. All walkers, trainers, groomers and vets offer their own niche to better for your needs. We frequently host CPR classes to better equip guardians. We do this for you, but encourage everyone to screen pet professionals thoroughly. We help guide how to choose the right professional for your pet through Leashly Launch Pad

Q: What makes Leashly different from a regular dog walking company?

A: Leashly focuses on emotional wellbeing, not just physical exercise. Our walks, group placements, and enrichment options are designed to build trust, reduce stress, and support your dog’s individual needs, especially for dogs who are fearful, reactive, or still learning to feel safe in the world

Q: What if my dog isn’t social or has behavioral concerns?

A: That’s exactly who we’re here for. We offer private walks, custom plans, and group placements for dogs who need structure, safety, and mindful ratios. Every dog is assessed individually, and we only place dogs in groups when they’re ready.

Q: How do I know which Leashly Club group my dog fits into?

A: During the Welcome Package, we’ll help assess your dog’s emotional needs, play style, and tolerance for novelty or social engagement. From there, we’ll match them with a group, like Playful Panda, Sensitive Salamander, or the Leashly Lion Pack, that meets them where they are.

Q: Do I have to be a Club member to book services?

A: Not at all! Services can be booked individually. However, Leashly Club members receive added support, educational tools, access to milestone tracking, and priority registration for events and group walks.

Q: What kind of training or handling methods do you use?

A: All Leashly services follow a force-free, fear-free, and consent-based approach. We prioritize communication, safety, and emotional regulation over obedience and we never use aversive tools or techniques.

Q: How does billing work for walks or groups?

A: We use a pass-based billing system where fees are based on duration, with added focus fees for dogs in curated groups requiring specialized care. Discounts are available for monthly bookings, and everything can be stacked onto one flexible plan.

Frequently Asked

From Walkers

Get answers to common questions about our services and care practices. We strive to provide transparent information to ensure your dog's well-being and happiness.

Q: What are milestone badges, and does my dog need to earn them?

A: Milestone badges are an optional tool we use to help track emotional progress—like confidence, curiosity, and cooperative care. They’re not obedience goals or performance-based; they simply help us notice and celebrate moments of growth over time.

Q: Do you pick up & drop off my dog for Services and Club events?

A: For all Leashly services (like walks, enrichment, or cooperative care visits), we handle pick-up and drop-off directly, no extra coordination needed. Leashly Club events are guardian-led, meaning you’ll bring your dog to the group location yourself.

Q: Can I do both?

A: Yes! We offer a hybrid option where we provide transport and support for your dog to participate in certain Club groups. This is great for guardians who want their dog to experience the Club but have scheduling challenges. Hybrid participation is offered at a discounted rate and includes milestone tracking and progress updates from our team.
