Trail Puzzle
I completed š§©Trail Puzzle Supplies & Step 1!
For this exercise, I decided to try it this morning while it was raining since walking wasnāt an option. This was something that Beezus really enjoyed and while she found it tough at first (she got distracted easily and was trying to destroy the obstacles haha), she did get it and had a lot of fun! I used boxes from my basement and set up down there, taking her old food bowl and one of our camping bowls along with her breakfast. After a bit of setting up and teaching her how to actually try to do it properly (and adjusting it so she understood), she had a lot of fun and it definitely tired her out when we couldnāt go outside because of the rain. I donāt have a video unfortunately (I forgot), but she definitely did enjoy it! Walks arenāt always the best enrichment for Beezus because she gets very stressed and anxious, so finding alternatives is always amazing. This was a great alternative to give her some enrichment and challenge her brain. She really enjoyed this and I will definitely be doing this a lot more often!

Beezus, you nailed the Trail Puzzle challenge!
I LOVE how you adapted the activity indoors, itās such a perfect example of what this challenge is all about: meeting dogs where theyāre at, especially when weather (or stress!) throws a curveball. š
Your creativity with the boxes and bowls is next-level, and the way you supported her through the learning curve shows such deep understanding and care. š
Iām so proud of you both! Beezus is officially a Trail Puzzle Pioneer š§©šæ and this post is pure encouragement for others looking for calming, enriching alternatives to walks.
Thanks for sharing: canāt wait to see what badge you and Beezus tackle next! š„¾š«
Jube is working on hers! Iām extending the summer camp so I can do my move then hit the ground running in August!
